Last week I shared with you some commonly misunderstood gardening terms. This week I feel led to share the importance of making healthy choices at the grocery store.

Considering the epidemic health crisis that is blanketing our nation, it is vitally important that we take immediate steps to improve our eating habits. Because what we eat directly affects our health and wellbeing.

Power Greens

Dark, leafy greens KALE, SPINACH, and SWISS CHARD are some of the most nutritious foods that you can feed your family. These dark, leafy green vegetables contain many essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Lutein and zeaxanthin, which are carotenoids, vitamin K, vitamin C, calcium, folate and iron are also found in LEAFY GREEN VEGETABLES. These vegetables even contain protein!
